You do not have to be logged in or even a member of the site to submit SellOuts. You can submit a SellOut by:
The SellOut can contain any information you deem relevant, but at a minimum it must contain at least one link pointing to a web page containing the information. We will check the SellOut for authenticity and relevance, and will add it to the site if it is not already present.
You can submit SellOuts for any member of Congress; they don't have to be your representatives.
You must be a logged-in member to submit either a link or a comment
You can only submit a link or comment by filling out the appropriate form on the SellOut page.
Must point to the specific page containing the relevant information, i.e. not a general Home page of a website.
Please keep them clean and try not to be a jerk.
Rude or vulgar comments result in a warning. Spam results in your membership being revoked.
Those links to your site will also elevate its position in search-engine rankings. (Search engines count outside links pointing to your site as an indication of how popular, and thus relevant, your website is.)
You can join only once.
You must join as a member of the district in which you are eligible to vote.
You can only rate SellOuts for your own politicians.
We will give you ample opportunity to respond to our concerns. If we do not hear back from you in a reasonable amount of time, or if we cannot resolve the issue to our satisfaction, we reserve the right to revoke your membership.
This means your account - including all of your ratings and their contribution to the overall scores - will be deleted, thus undoing any result skewing you may have accomplished.
Specifically, if you move to a different state you lose the ratings for all 3 of your politicians (2 Senators and 1 House Representative). If you move to a different district in the same state you lose the ratings for your old House Representative.
